Mrs. Feldman was my fifth grade teacher at Fratt School. It was a very difficult year as my father had walked away from our family and everyone was struggling. To this day, and I am 67 years old, I have always considered Mrs. Feldman as my favorite teacher through high school, college, and graduate school. She was a kind woman with an open ear and always took time to make me value myself as a person.
