I did not know Elias, but have the joy and privilege to be friends with some of his family members, so I address myself to them: I know you will miss him very much, but I also know you have the peace and joy to know you will see him again and spend Eternity with him. My prayers are with you all. Susanne Schmitz Holt

I am so sorry for your loss. May the 'God of all comfort' be with you during this difficult time. I have personally found comfort in the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 where it states that very soon 'death will be brought to nothing'. Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on earth (John 5:28,29). I truly hope this brings you comfort and hope. With deepest sympathies, Gwen and family.

I have many great memories of my dad. I remember going on the tour bus with him at Little Big Horn Battlefield and telling the story of the battle. I remember him stopping at the arrow creek site and telling us the battle, showing us the exact spots of warriors and enemies were killed. He knew every bit of history of the Crows and the Pryor Mountains. I remember going into the mountains with him and his buddies to get teepee poles. I wished I was able to sit down with him and write everything down, unfortunately his life ended sooner than expected and I never got the chance to do that. When my son Elias III was born, you called every single day to check on him because he was in NICU in Great Falls for a month. I miss you dearly, we all do. I know Taliyah, Elias III, and Harper would have loved growing up with their Grandpa Elias. Love you Dad!
