Obituary
Ardella (Susie Kaul) Mack Susie passed away peacefully while sleeping in her home on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born October 29, 1939 in a tar paper shack in New Deal, MT to Alfred and Freda (Lloyd) Kaul. The family moved to Circle and then settled in Four Buttes, MT where they farmed. Susie attended a one-room primary school in Four Buttes, where her and her brothers rode Old Blue to school. She graduated from Scobey High School in 1957. And attended MSU-Bozeman for a year. In 1964 she married Neil McIsaac and 2 children were born from this union. Neil was a Naval Corpman and they were stationed around the United States. When they divorced she moved back to Billings. In 1973 she married Elmer Mack and from this union 2 children were also born. She was a nurse's aide at St. Vincent's in the early 60's leaving when she got married and left the state. She returned to working at St. V's in 1977 and remained there until retiring in 1999. Susie never met a stranger as she would talk to anyone, also known as the gift of gab, nor did she forgot a face. She touched a lot of people with most getting the Susie squeeze. She enjoyed gardening, wearing flip flops, St Vincent's family, and most recently her Aspen Grove family. She loved and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren grow. Susie is survived by her children Barb (Wes) Berry, Doug McIsaac, Michelle (Shawn) Thiel, all of Billings, MT, Stephanie (Nevada) Crimmins, Dickinson, ND; step children Jeff Mack, Jolee McGarvey and Budelle Welander; grandchildren Gary Albert, Sheila (Jason) Stenberg, Kyle and Kyra Thiel, Jacq McIsaac, Houston and Cash Crimmins; brother Bud (Phyllis) Kaul; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and her children's friends that she referred to as her other kids. Susie is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Freda Kaul; brother Arden Kaul and sister-n-law Dee Kaul; and step son Danny McIsaac. Memorials to EVA Project c/o St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation 1106 N. 30th Street Billings, MT 59101 Memorial Service 11:00 am Monday at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be held in Scobey, MT at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

Susie and I started school in Four Buttes so we go back a long way. Together with Alice Baldry, we were good friends and playmates, then attended school together in Scobey. Susie was so friendly and outgoing, always ready for fun. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I met Susie in Hawaii when married to Neil Mc Isaac. We became friends. I knew her Children Doug and Barb. Stayed in touch and visited her in 1988. I would call her send cards. She did the same. Sorry to have lost a good friend. Time passes so quickly now. My Condolences to the Family! God Bless you all! I remember my Billings visit very well, I met Michelle and Stephanie. We had a good time!
