Mark Day

Mark T. “Ted” Day, 22, of Red Lodge, Montana died suddenly Tuesday, April 22, 2014. He was born March 3, 1992 in Red Lodge and was a lifelong area resident. In 2012 he received his GED and in 2013 completed one year at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming where he studied Criminal Justice. Ted had a passion for cooking and enjoyed working at the Red Lodge Café alongside his father and grandmother. He also worked at The Pizza Company in Red Lodge and was currently employed with Buffalo Wild Wings in Billings. Ted had a kind heart and looked for the good in others and was always eager to help. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him and will be deeply missed by all. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted Day, Doris Day Kracaw and Michael Kracaw, all of Red Lodge, uncle Michael Gulbrandson of Pinedale, WY. Ted is survived by his father and step-mother, Mark & Allison (Stoltz) Day; mother Valerie Smith, all of Red Lodge; maternal grandparents Dale & Dorothy Smith, of Belfry, MT; five sisters and three brothers, Sheila (Mikey Evans) MacGregor, Kacie Smith, Justin Day, Elizabeth Stoltz, Brandi Webb, Nickolas Smith, Nicole Currier & Derek Currier; two nieces, Alissia Smith & Isabella Jarman; nephew Jaxon Day, all of Red Lodge, along with numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel and memories may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com Cemetery: Burial of ashes will be in the Red Lodge Cemetery. Service: Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Red Lodge.
