Obituary
Lorraine L. Geiger Enberg, 68, went home to be with our Heavenly Father July 22, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born December 11, 1944 in Pierre, South Dakota to Joseph and Elsie Geiger. She lived in Murdo, South Dakota until she was seven. Her family moved to Billings, Montana and finally settled in Lockwood in 1953, where she attended Lockwood School through the 9th grade. Lorraine went to work at Rex Laundry for several years. She also worked at St. Vincent Hospital. On December 18, 1965 she married Emil Enberg and they had six children. Her first two would have been twins but one died before he was born. She became a stay-at-home mom until her last child was born. Lorraine went to work for Hart-Albin's Co. for 14 years until it caught on fire. She loved her job very much and enjoyed greeting people, being asked to help clean the offices above the store, and was a greeter at the Alberta Bair when it opened. She retired at an early age because of her health. Lorraine's favorite hobbies were making golfball angel dolls, fishing, going for rides to enjoy the scenery and watching for wild animals, latch hooks, enjoying movies with her family, and water coloring. She was a great artist! She loved reading her Bible and “Hank the Cowdog” and animal Ark books. You could always find her outside working in her garden or planting flowers. She cared for many animals of all shapes and sizes. Life was always a challenge for her, but she was humble and thankful for what the Lord provided her with. She loved people and would talk their ear off if they let her. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Emil, and son Baby Joseph. She is survived by her son Monty Enberg, daughters Tresa (Pete) Stewart, Crystal (Vaughn) West, and Suzy Enberg (fiancé Corey Fischer); grandchildren James, Crystal Jr., Brianna West, Kendra, Kayla, Trey Fischer, and numerous cousins. Our sexy little grandma angel will be greatly missed. Service: Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the Vigil Service starting at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Dahl Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Church with committal in Holy Cross Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at St. Bernard's fellowship hall.

Mom, you were one of a kind. With your gentle soft loving arms you made everything all better. Your smile and sense of humor made me laugh. Our long talks on the phone I'm going to miss. You were my world my everything and now it has come to an abrupt stop. Your life here on earth was cut to short. We still needed you but I guess god needed you more. You are free from all your pain and suffering, so fly my little angel and watch over your family. Keep us on the path of our lord our Heavenly Father who you loved so much. I am a friend of Lorraine's when Deacon Tim and I attended St.Bernard Parish and you children were very young. I haven't seen Lorraine in a while but we hold many cherished memories. We will be out of town this coming weekend and just wanted to extend our condolences to you her children and grandchildren and all other family and friends.
