Sandra Smith

LINCOLN, Neb. – Sandra Marie Smith, beloved daughter mother and grandmother, passed away in Nebraska March 9, 2013, from cancer. She was born Dec. 19, 1960, in California and was raised in Havre. She moved from Montana to Nebraska as an adult and was a stay-at-home mom. Sandra delighted in making people happy. She shared crosses given to her with families she met at the hospital. She is survived by her mother, Patricia A. Hyde of Ballantine; daughter Stacey (Smith) Hyde of Ballantine; son Eric (Smith) Hyde of Billings and grandchildren Nydia, Kayra and Patton Hyde; brothers William (Cindy) of Swan, Colo., and Robert (Crystal) Laufer of Havre; sister Mary Laufer of Havre; and aunts Mary Taliva of Arizona and Sandra Mondani of California. She is also survived by her best friends Willy and her beloved cat Noe. Sandra was preceded in death by her brother James Patrick Laufer and her stepdad Elmer A. Hyde. Service: Cremation has taken place in Lincoln. No services are planned.
