Donah Wilson Bower

Donah Marie Wilson Bower , 76, of Billings, passed away with her family by her side, on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Vincent Healthcare due to complications with lung disease. She was born on January 14, 1936 in Park River, North Dakota to Bartley and Marie Warner. Our beautiful mother always made family a priority in her life. She was always there for you and willing to go the extra mile. Family get togethers that involved good food, lots of laughs and late night card games were among her favorite things to do. It was not unusual to have people tell you how much they enjoyed her sense of humor, honesty and fairness. She never spoke badly of anyone, but somehow could let you know when you had done something right or wrong. Growing up in Southern California Donah met and married Clyde Wilson, this started her family. They lived in Great Falls in the 60's where she was able to meet people like Charlie Pride, who she worked with while bartending and teaching dancing. In the 70's they moved to Billings, she worked at Sukins, Kings and Pay N Pak. Donah moved back to Southern California in the mid 80's and remarried. They moved back to Montana in 2002. She is survived by her siblings, Arlene Freyder and Gary Warner; children, Michael Wilson, Cindy (Larry) Maddock, Sitona Wilson and Jody (Todd) Monson; grandchildren, Roberta Wilson, Kelly Massey, Joshua Monson and Alex Krenzler; great-grandchildren, Rhiley, Taylor and Sage. Donah was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Warner and first grandson, Todd Maddock. She will be missed by all. Service: Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Dahl Funeral Chapel followed by graveside services at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park. A get together with family and friends will follow at Bonaventure Retirement Community.
