James Crouse,

James Crouse, 84, loving spouse, father, grandfather, passed away on March 12, 2011. He was born on May 24, 1926 in Ebensburg, PA to George and Crecentia (Reffner) Crouse. James was married to Naomi Boley for 28 years. He married Sandra Wilson on November 18, 1977, in Cody, WY and was married to Sandra till present. He served in the Army Air Corps and was an aircraft mechanic. After serving in the Corps, he continued to work in the aircraft mechanical field for American Airlines and worked for the Federal Aviation Agency for 30 yrs. and 3 months of service. James hobbies included fishing, flying and playing the accordion. He loved his time with his boys taking them flying and hunting when the opportunity presented itself. His love for music led him to take up playing the accordion. He spent time in the great outdoors by fishing and hunting. He loved his dogs until the day he died. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and an active member of QB's (Quiet Birdmen) until his passing. James is survived by his wife Sandra; sons: James (Chrys) Crouse and Jeffrey Crouse; daughters: Carol (Doug) Rosin and Linda (Kurtiss) Morken; step-children: Keith Wilson, Raeanna Wilson, Cindy Redner and Tamara Bolz; brother - William Crouse; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Helen Springer and Henrietta Williams, brother John Crouse; grandparents Lewis Crouse and Louisa Bishop; Peter Reffner and Henrietta Yeager. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in his name. Service: Memorial services will be held at the Dahl Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 am.
