Phil and family, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. What a beautiful lady. When I worked with her at the hospital I had the utmost respect for her unlike the Kennedy's. Just joking!! She was always very good to me and a great boss. Maybe even better than you Phil:) I always loved seeing your mom and dad walk in the door at the counter. They were always sending care packages or grapefruit. Such a wonderful couple. They always seemed so happy together. Now once again they can be together and what a blessing for them and comforting for all of you. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you all, Karen

On Sept. 7 1971, I went to work in the St. Vincent's Healthcare food service, hired by Ann Zeeck. I told her I would stay one year. Thirty nine years later, I am still there. Of all the bosses I have had over those years, she was one of the very best. After she retired we would occasionally run into each other. It was always nice to see herand visit with her and catch-up. She treated all her employees with fairness, respect, and great caring. This world will be the less with her passing.

I remember Annaleen well as I was younger than she when we lived in Shelby and I remember she and my older sister knew one another and she was such an attractive girl and so nice to me then. I am so happy she seemed to have such a happy life and I commend her family for remembering the details such as her service in the military. Very impressive for a child born in Lothair. Although I have not seen Mrs. Zeeck in many years, I will always remember her sweet, caring, compassionate, and friendly disposition. She was especially tolerant of the shenanigans me and her boys got in to. My most sincere condolences to all of her family. Scott
