Obituary
Nancy K. Bargen went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, August 22, 2010. She died from the detiorating effects of dementia. Nancy was born September 30, 1916 in Foley, Minnesota to Peter and Agnus Henry. She had two brothers and one sister.On June 26, 1946 Nancy married Menno L. Bargen. They had two sons, Richard in Kelleen, TX and Dean of Billings, MT.Nancy and Menno were active and long time members of the First Alliance Church of Billings. The church family, with their love for Nancy, were very attentive to Nancy's needs through this illness and continued as long as Nancy was able to go to church. This support was so special to Nancy's routine and love for Jesus! Thank You First Alliance Church!Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Menno, brother Robert Henry and beloved daughter-in-law Paulette Bargen.Nancy is survived by her son Richard, Killeen, TX, his son Darin and wife Allison, their children Kyle, Blake, Dannie, Nikki, and Amy and Deana Hamson, her husband Jeff, their children Kacy, Haley and Chasen. Also her son Dean, his wife Connie, their daughters Andrea Bargen and Danni Hayes and 14month old twins Brecken and Kinley Hayes. Her brother Kerney and Loretta Herny of Foley, MN. and Sister Eva Ohr of Wannamingo, MN. Sister-in-law Donna Henry of Foley, MN. Plus many neices and nephews.Special thanks to Tendernest for all their loving care over the past several years.Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4th, 3:00 at the First Alliance Church, 19th and Central. Interment of ashes will be in Sunset Memorial Garden. Dahl Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com.

The Bargens were great friends of my parents for years. I also graduated and sang with Dean Bargen in Accappella at Billings West High School. Nancy was such a loving person, she smiled without smiling. One could tell she was a Christian with the inward glow that we Christians have. I remember spending time with them when they were visiting Mom and Dad, such wonderful people. They will be greatly missed, but Nancy is back with her Menno.

Nancy was a very special "lady" who was loved by all of the students when she worked at RMC. She made the adjustment into college easier for not only myself in 1957, but for many. I remember Nancy saying is would be terriable if we got married, as neither one of us could spell. 51 years and sell check we are still together, a fact we got to remind her of when we attended the CMA church in Billings, 1975-1985.

Dean, Richard and Families, We are so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I still have the fondest memories of when We were little and we had lots of dinners with you. Your Mom making her own soap, and I did ironing for her as she didn't have time and your Dad liked ironed shirts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time.
