Obituary

Lupe Perez Jr. , 64, was called home by the Lord to be with his Father and Mother Lupe Perez Sr. and Darlene (LeCompte) Perez on June 10, 2010. Lupe was born in Billings December 21, 1945; he attended Garfield Elementary as a child, and Billings Senior High School as a teenager. Lupe participated in track. After school, Lupe followed in his fathers footsteps and started his career at Burlington Northern railroad; he then retired as a respected foreman for the company. While working at Burlington Northern Lupe met Lavern Costa. God blessed them with four beautiful children.Lupe enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the stock car races, boxing and most of all he loved to take his Pride and Joy, Abelina Renee to the Thursday night fights. Lupe also enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lupe had the kind of sense of humor that could make a rock crack up. For anyone that just met him or knew him for years, you knew that he wouldnt let you walk away from him without cracking a joke. Lupe had a very big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His strength was what most defined him, hence his nickname “Super Lup”. Lupes sense of humor and kindness was felt by everybody he came into contact with and he will be greatly missed by all. Lupe was preceded in death by his parents, Lupe Perez Sr. and Darlene “Sis” Perez and his little brother Tim Perez.Survivors include his Special friend, Shelly Doney; his brothers, Johnny (Linda), Gary (Robyn) Perez; his sister Marlene (James) Ponce; his children, Jesse (Ursula) Perez, Angela (James) Cochran, Valerie Perez, RoyAnn (Lewis) Enick and Francis “Red” Perez; his grandchildren, Jesse Phillip, Julian, Christopher, Jimmy, Abelina Renee, Lupejocinta Perez, Tupeona Pedro, Andrew, Belo, Princess, Renae LeftHand and Sophia, Mila and Mikaya Perez; great-grandchildren, Angelo, Jessica, Carmine and Nika Perez; as well as numerous Nephews, Nieces, Uncles, Aunts, Friends and Family that he loved dearly.Visitation will be 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Dahl Funeral Chapel.
