March 07, 1967 - May 19, 2025
Obituary
Terry Jean Hanson, 58, was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Sandy Vandegrift and Ronald Radke on March 7th, 1967. She passed away on May 19th, 2025, in her home in Billings, Montana.
Terry was the youngest of 5 children. Terry married her high school sweetheart, Brian Hanson, on May 25th, 1985. They met in Albert Lea, Minnesota, where they had their 3 children, Tara, Aaron, and Leah.
In 1999, they relocated to Billings to follow Sandy and live on their family land. Terry enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing with her family, earning the nickname Fishstick because she usually caught a stick thinking it was a big fish. Terry loved having BBQs with her family and being the DJ as her family would compete in corn hole.
For the past 6 years, Terry’s genuine soul and big heart brightened Albertsons, where she formed friendships and left a positive impact on countless individuals. Terry welcomed everyone with open arms. Her pure kindness and warm heart will be missed. Her smile will remain alive in her children.
Terry is preceded in death by her daughter Tara, brother Wade, mother Sandy, Father Ronald, and in-laws Daniel and Judy Hanson.
Terry is survived by her husband Brian, children Aaron, his wife Angie, Leah, her fiancé Brian, 4 grandchildren, and siblings Delano, Lisa, and Julie.
A funeral service will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 31st, at 1 p.m. The celebration of life will follow at 3 p.m. at Craft Local.
