I met Gene Sullivan in July 1999. I was a new Christian only six months into my new life and little did I know the Lord was sending a man of God (along with his wife ) to call me out and fulfill Jeremiah 3:15 “ I will give you pastors according to my heart, which will feed you with knowledge and understanding” Gene and Ceci came to Kodiak AK with an invitation to speak at the local church I attended. When I met them personally in a local coffee shop, I was so excited to share my salvation experience with them, but at the time I was being “discipled” by books. I read my bible but I had no relationship with anyone that I could connect to on any meaningful level. Gene’s first words to me were simply, “we’re having a retreat in Hawaii….you should come.” I did, and the Lord opened my spiritual eyes and I followed by the leading of His Spirit. I never looked back. Gene’s been a continual feast of God‘s word and a father to me, something I desperately needed. In the 26 years I’ve known him I’ve only known a man of the highest integrity never once displaying any malice or guile towards anyone. He reflected the character of Jesus so well because he carried Him with him everywhere. He was kind to the unkind and compassionate to the brutish. He never repaid evil for evil even though he weathered a lot of slander. He had this testimony…..He pleased God. To say he leaves a big hole is an understatement, but to those that have received the one that God sent to them, we’ve been imparted a portion of his wisdom, his faith and his love. To those that opened themselves up to Gene to be discipled, he poured himself into them. And right till the end of his time here, he was still giving to others. How lovely are the feet of him who brings good news Rm 10:15. He’s been such a powerful witness to many nations right down to our small home fellowship gatherings. He was moved to tears whenever he shared his testimony of 53 years remembering Jesus’s mercy like it was yesterday and seeing a man that humble was so moving. He has a lot he could have been proud about, but laid it all down glorifying Jesus in all that he did and said. God used him mightily. My meeting him is just one of the miracles but there are too many to mention. He lived his faith daily, and I often overheard him talking to the Lord throughout the day. His last words to me were a whisper….Bless you…..I have been and am very blessed to have known you and been loved by you! I’m forever changed and grateful! Thank you Gene Sullivan. I love you till I see you on the other side. Welcome home!

I am eternally grateful for meeting Gene back in 1982.. He and his team would stay at our home when they came to town..We had home group meetings and deep fellowship that changed my life..He was so personal and free. I had the privilege to move to Colo. and be apart and involved with he and Ceci. It truly was what I had felt was my destiny a few years before... In Jermiah 23, It say's I WILL GATHER THE REMANT OF MY FLOCK i WILL SET UP SHEPHERDS WHICH SHALL FEED THEM AND THEY SHALL FEAR NO MORE... OR BE DISMADED OR LACKING, SAY'S THE LORD...... I was looking for GODS family, it changed my life and my destiny. Jesus said in HIS word Iam the good shepherd. I would go to a church before meeting Gene and Ceci and think this is it. I was looking to connect with family.. What I experienced was pastors would come and go that was heart breaking to my lost empty soul.. I had the honor of walking with our ministry sence 1988.. My father, my sister, my husband all made it into eternity because of Gene's love, faithfulness his love for Jesus, his witness. love through a man sent from God to reflect His LOVE........ They were redeemed and forgiven because of God's Love. My son got another chance to live because of Gene and the body praying for him.. His testimony is on the video called Bread upon the Water.. One thing Gene always said is... DON'T GIVE UP ON ANYBODY.... AND WE WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE,,,,, What an incredible honor to walk with Gene for a season of my life..Signs miracles and gifts of the Holy Ghost continually happened in meetings, Jump events He and Ceci and the team traveled all over the world to share JESUS....JESUS IS LORD"

We can’t see the air we breathe, yet we can perceive the move of the Holy Spirit, even when on the outside looking in….Gene made an entrance for me and my family to enter in to the spiritual dimension of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost by example. Gene and his crew (including Rick Ramsbottom who I’m now married to) came to my Hawaiian Island hometown, Waianae, in 1984. He did a ramp to ramp motorcycle jump through a wall of fire. Not a circle, or a ring, but a WALL OF FIRE 🔥 the JUMP FOR JESUS guy passionately busted through to “see you on the other side” and demonstrated the love of God and faith that comes from that same love. As a young person, I carried the heavy burden of performance to honor and please myself - with the delusion of pleasing others. I didn’t understand the ministry of being reconciled to God, forgiveness of sin, or the kingdom of God. Gene had understanding though, and wisdom would be seen in as many as would receive Jesus in him. I am eternally grateful to now say it is well with my soul. I’ve been redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus. Gene and Ceci have both played a key role in my little life. I never knew the value of open and honest relationships until I met them. Today, I can hear the voice of the Good Shepherd in my spirit and conscience, leading and guiding me…even as I ask….He responds. His Word and Spirit bring peace, life, and power to overcome. I watched Gene over the years “divest himself of himself” it doesn’t make sense to any self promoter. He heard the red letters and did that…he decreased so that Jesus could increase in him. He lived by the words of Jesus “if any man lose his life for my sake, he WILL FIND IT” and when the Pearl of Great price is found and we passionately go “ALL IN” the search is over! We find rest for our souls. Gene has personally given us words, and LIFE to remember - to keep ourselves in the love of God and be built up in our most Holy faith UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ❤️ WE LOVE YOU!!! Hebrews 13:7-8 KJV Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

What I loved most about the gift of God in Gene's life, was his WORD anointing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkGmzdE3jrE He was a man who "always prayed" and didn't faint in the day of battle..EVERYDAY, and he always spied out the little candle of the Lord in people's hearts to see if he could help their LIGHT shine brighter, even when he had to be a tough guy like Jesus, it was always for the benefit of others, even his sharp rebukes. He not only LOOKED TO HAVE WORDS, he helped people stop drinking down the poison coming from their own mouth. LIFE AND DEATH are the power of words, the SPIRIT of words, and I will never be able to Thank the Lord enough for a man sent from God who helped me understand the very NATURE of the "life and death" in the SPIRIT OF WORDS. It turned the ASH PILE of my life, into a SONG OF JOY, to "receive the man sent to me." In the book of James in the bible it says, "LIFE AND DEATH ARE THE POWER IN THE SPIRIT OF WORDS. .. and those who "eat" them will be satisfied by them." The devil only has one plan every single day. And it’s how does he stop us from being a witness. Especially by shutting up the government of the “law of the Spirit of Life” in our soul with a little things knowing what we should do and not doing it…. doing what we shouldn’t do and doing that instead.
