Michael Cavanaugh

The world lost one of its most valuable players, Michael Anthony Cavanaugh, Sr. passed away Oct. 5 2013 at his home do to an illness he had been fighting for a while. Michael was one of three boys born to Joseph Cavanaugh and Verta Wilkinson. He was the middle child born Sept 28 1953, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Michael will be truly missed by many and missed deeply by those who were close to him, especially his daughter Heather. Michael loved lots of people and lots of people loved him, so many looked up to him. Last but not least, Michael loved muscle cars and his pets, Patty Cakers will miss you too and your dog, Meme. May you rest in peace dad, until we meet again. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cavanaugh and Verta Wilkinson; his companion of 27 years, Sonja Olsen (Cavanaugh); and other extended family. He is survived by his three children and their children, Mike Jr.,Mikie3 , Talon and Ashlee, Heather (Darin), Taylor, Tyler, Tristan, Tarrin, Tessa and Taygen, Jamee (Robbie), McKayla and Kade. His two brothers and their children, Joseph Cavanaugh, Jr. and Connie and kids, Paul and Brenda Cavanaugh and our sweet Marie; and many extended family; also, Thelma Viesman and Jeremiah and their family, Meme and Patty Cakers. Service: Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Dahl Funeral Chapel. After services a small pot luck brunch will be at Thelma and Mike's house, bring a dish if you would like, address will be announced.
