Dorothy Strobbe

Dorothy Mae (Reiter) Strobbe, formerly from Worden, passed away on July 30, 2025. She was born May 8, 1934, as the oldest daughter of Phillip and Pauline (Nagel) Reiter. Dorothy loved to garden, can goods, bake, and cook. She also loved to fish and travel. Dorothy married the love of her life, Jim (James) Strobbe, and they had 45 years together. Survivors include son, Leonard Strobbe (Anna), daughter Charlotte Greenwood (Steve), four grandchildren, Dustin Greenwood, Melissa, Jim (James), Paige Strobbe, and a great-grandson, Colten James. Sister Phyllis Weidinger (Ed), many nieces and nephews, and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents, brother Sam, and sister Frances Scott. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the Chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1601 Mullowney Lane.
