Jarris Regina Huck
August 3, 1956 – September 7, 2025
Jarris Regina Huck, affectionately known by her beloved husband as the “love of my life,” passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Worden, Montana, at the age of 69.
Jarris was born on August 3, 1956, in Kennett, Missouri, to James Edward Busbey and Leonia (Gribble) Busbey. Her early years were spent across several states, growing up in Grover Hill, Ohio; Thermopolis, Wyoming; Worden, Montana; Roberts, Montana; and Weston, Missouri—each place shaping her warm spirit and generous heart.
She earned an associate degree in law and carried a strong work ethic throughout her life, working in many roles including housekeeper, waitress, painter, and apartment manager. Jarris was known for her remarkable ability to make any space feel like home.
On June 12, 1993, she married Alan Lee Huck in Huntley, Montana. Together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and family.
Jarris had a passion for the simple joys of life. She found happiness in cooking, baking, reading, chatting with friends, shopping, and especially in the company of her loved ones, she was very well known for her incredible talent and love of quilting. She treasured every moment spent with her family and loved to travel and explore new places with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Leonia Busbey; her brother Jack Busbey; and her in-laws Louie and Rose Huck.
Jarris is survived by her devoted husband, Alan Lee Huck; her sons, Danny Burnell Hammons and Travis Lester Hammons; her siblings Judy Ann Snyder, Jawona Darlene Chrisman, and Jim Edward Busbey Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and one more great-grandchild in the oven. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love will live on through all who knew her.
A visitation for Jarris will be held at Dahl Funeral Chapel (10 Yellowstone Avenue, Billings, MT, 59101) on Wednesday September 10, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden, MT (2469 4th Street, Worden, MT 59088) on Thursday, September 11th at 2:00 pm with additional viewing starting at 1:00 pm before the service. Burial will be immediately after the service at the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT.
