Please accept my heartfelt condolences to your dear family. Words can only do so much, but Jehovah’s promises truly have power to soothe even the deepest sorrow. Our loving God understands every tear and “is near to those broken at heart” (Psalm 34:18). How comforting it is to know that He holds our loved ones securely in His memory, awaiting the time when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” (John 5:28, 29). Brother Valdez’s faith, love for Jehovah, and devotion to his family leave behind a beautiful testimony of endurance and hope. May the God of all comfort continue to surround you with His tender care, and may you feel the strength that comes from the congregation’s love and your firm faith in the resurrection. Soon, sorrow will be no more, and joy will fill the earth when Jehovah “makes all things new” (Revelation 21:4, 5). With warm Christian love and prayers, Kevin Guillory, Jr.

I was always happy to see Alan greeting us with a smile, a hug, and an "I love you" when we went into the Kingdom Hall...Often as we left, too. Many of us families would frequently go to Applebee's after Midweek mtg and laugh and visit together. Sometimes as many as 25 people or more at once! I just remember that he smiled easily and loved his family dearly including his spiritual family, too. He will be greatly missed!
