Donna Beggin

Donna Beggin, longtime Billings resident passed away peacefully at her home November 26, 2025 at the age of 97.

Born November 2, 1928 in Rockford, Illinois to Charles and Fern Heller. Donna grew up in the Midwest graduating from high school in 1946. She met Thomas Beggin at a school dance. Writing back and forth while he served in the Navy during World War II. Donna and Tom married September 20, 1947 in Rockford. They moved to Billings, Montana in 1966.

Donna enjoyed working especially at Eastern Montana College in the accounting office as a bookkeeper. After retiring she enjoyed camping, traveling, walking her dog Skippy and hosting gatherings for family and friends. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and a contributor to many local charities.

Donna leaves behind her son Fr. Tom Beggin, daughter Kathy Olsen, grandson Chris Olsen and great grand daughter Kameron. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, and sister Helen Mayhew.

Donna’s family wishes to thank St. John’s hospice for the care and comfort given to her the past few months.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of strength, wit, humor and dedication to her family and friends. As the “tough kid from the consin (Wisconsin)” a well deserved rest awaits her after a beautiful life here on Earth.

Donna’s life will be celebrated with a funeral mass held at St. Pius X Church December 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., luncheon will follow with interment at Sunset Memorial Garden.
