Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce Denise Marie Schilling passed away November 28, 2025 in Billings, Montana.
Born on February 26, 1958 in Buffalo, NY to Kenneth W. Mundy and Carolyn A. Mundy, the family moved to Ballston Spa, NY in 1974. Denise joined the US Army after graduating from Ballston Spa High School and attending Adirondack Community College. She served for many years traveling to bases throughout the US, with her favorite assignment being when she was stationed in Germany.
After her discharge from the Army, Denise moved to Bozeman, MT, then lived in St. George, Utah for some time and settled in Billings MT. She was currently working at a diesel repair shop (with her dog Piper by her side).
She was a huge dog lover and her favorite pastime was spending time with her dogs, past and present (she spoke of them all quite often). Denise was also a person that would help anyone out in their time of need.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Patricia A. Rhodes (Mike) and Jennifer A. Hannon (Paul), her nephew Jacob T. Hannon, her companion Maurice Bate, her dog Piper, along with her many friends in Billings, MT.
Denise’s final resting place will be in the Yellowstone National Cemetery.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
