Louise Marie Zokan-Delos Reyes passed away on January 29, 2026, in Billings, Montana at the age of 76.
Louise Marie Zokan was born on April 17, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Leo Zokan and Florence St. Clair Zokan. Louise spent her childhood and young adult years in Milwaukee, attending the university of Wisconsin – Milwaukee where she obtained her Master of Social Work.
Louise met Roger Cepeda Delos Reyes, and they later married on February 12, 1979, in Hughes County, South Dakota.
Louise assisted many people in her lifetime, working over 40 years with Bureau of Indian Affairs/Department of the Interior as a social worker. Louise committed her life to making the world better for children, something that she will always be remembered by.
Louise had many hobbies and interests including painting, listening to birds, and word games with her beloved family such as Scrabble, Wordle, Words with friends.
During her retirement, she regularly volunteered for the ACLU, Relay for Life and the Walk to End Alzheimer's, as well as for political candidates and causes she supported.
Louise was deeply loved by many who knew her, including her husband and loving daughters. 76 years may never feel like enough time with such a wonderful person, but the memories she made with those she loved will forever remain in their hearts.
