Obituary

Rebecca Ann (Merrill) Raver, age 30, passed away on February 12, 2026.

Rebecca was deeply loved by her parents, Nick Merrill and Brenda and Randy Hawkins. She was the cherished wife and best friend of the love of her life, Scott. She was a devoted youngest sister to Sarah (Andy) Merrill, Rachel (Adam Rehm) Voss, David (Kayla) Merrill, David (Megan) Hawkins, and Adrienne (Justin) VanFossan.

She was also a proud and playful aunt to Ruby Wilson; Grayson and Brady Voss; Cal and Mae Hawkins; Theo and Josie Merrill and Hawk VanFossan — roles she treasured and filled with laughter, teasing, and unconditional love.

Rebecca attended Sacred Heart Griffin High School and St. Louis University, where she later earned her law degree. She practiced law in St. Louis and Billings, Montana, and carried a genuine passion for helping immigrants, advocating for those who needed a voice and a fair chance.

She loved the outdoors - hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and any adventure that allowed her to be surrounded by nature. More than anything, she loved being with her family, friends, and her dog, Milsey.

While she could seem shy at first, once you really got to know Rebecca, her hilarious personality shined. She had a sharp wit and an unforgettable sense of humor and was famous among family and friends for her legendary roasts - delivered with perfect timing and just enough sweetness to remind you how much she loved you.

Her kindness, loyalty, humor, and fierce love for the people in her life will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Louis (time and location to follow). Please check her Facebook Memorial page at Becca Raver for updates.
