Obituary
Bryan Scott Kapor entered this world on April 15, 1986, at 10:26 a.m., a fighter from the very beginning, weighing just 3 pounds 11 ounces. True to his spirited nature, he kept his mother in labor for five days before making his unforgettable entrance. Bryan passed away on March 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, energy, and deep devotion to those he loved.
From an early age, Bryan was a fierce protector, especially of his siblings and his mother. He took his first steps the very day his mother went into labor with his little sister and remained loyally by her side from the moment she came home. Growing up in Bridger and Billings, Montana, Bryan was a familiar face at ballgames and activities, always brimming with energy. He was a tenacious little boy filled with grit and determination. When he was a little boy, he used to ride sheep at the nightly rodeo in Billings. Those sheep would roll over and twist and come back up, and there would be Bryan, covered in dirt, grinning and still hanging on, proud as punch, and giving them heck. Whether it was wrestling, basketball, soccer, Boy Scouts, or baseball, he poured his heart into everything he did. When he wasn’t competing, he was making others laugh with his playful antics, jokes, costumes, wigs, and larger-than-life personality.
He lived boldly and without hesitation, often testing limits and creating stories that those around him will never forget. Yet beneath his adventurous spirit was a deeply compassionate soul. He stood up for the underdog and would give anything—his time, his home, or his last dollar to someone in need. His love for his family ran deep, and he never hesitated to defend or support those closest to him. He was creative, artistic, a dreamer, a lover, devoted, a defender, one of a kind, and so, so much more, or as he would like to put it, " I'm Bryan Fucking Kapor."
Bryan graduated from Bridger High School in 2005, where he built lasting friendships and shared a special bond with his grandmother, Donna, whose passing deeply affected him tremendously. Bryan began working at UPS on June 30, 2008, where he found pride and purpose, eventually becoming a feeder driver hauling triple trailers across the state and earning multiple safety awards. He was respected and well-liked by his coworkers, forming strong friendships along the way.
On February 14, 2013, Bryan’s life changed forever with the birth of his daughter, Alayna, lovingly known as “Laney Bug” and “Princess.” She was the center of his world and the light of his life. From the day she was born, she became his entire world. Everything he did, every dream he held, was centered around her. His love for her was boundless, pure, and unwavering—a love that will continue to surround her always. He remained close with her mother, Sarah, whom he respected deeply as a co-parent and friend.
Bryan will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His humor, generosity, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family leave a lasting imprint on the hearts of those he leaves behind. His life was not measured in years, but in the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created. He lived fully, loved fiercely, and will never be forgotten.
Bryan will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his fierce bear hugs, his enchanting, welcoming smile, his big heart, and the way he made people feel seen, protected, and loved. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on in every life he touched.
He is survived by his Daughter, Alayna Kapor; his mother, Marcia Kapor; stepfather, Dana Davis; sisters, Trystin (Tom) Alsteen, Emily Synoground, and Stephanie Davidson; brother, Tavin Davis; grandfather, Ronald Kapor; grandparents, Jim and Virginia Davis, uncles Darren Kapor, Chris Kapor, Greg Davis, Mark (Reba) Ricks, Mike (Wendy) Ricks, Douglas Ricks, aunts, Michelle (Ray) Ricks-Shields, Melissa (Justin) Sprague and many extended family members and loved ones.
