Loretta Morrison

Loretta E Morrison, 88, of Billings, Montana passed away on March 28, 2026.

Loretta was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 31, 1938, to Harry and Marie Woldsmit. She married her love Richard Morrison on September 22, 1956. Together they had six children, Paula, Richard II, Sarah, Marie, Tracy and Robert.

Loretta worked many years in service and retail in her earlier years and then moved on to working as a caregiver. She worked as a caregiver for 37 years. Outside of work, Loretta raised six children, and in her free time she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, painting, and cooking. She was also an avid reader.

Loretta was preceded in death by her son Robert Michael, parents Harry and Marie Woldsmit, sister Dolores Uncapher, and her brother Harry Woldsmit Jr.

She is survived by eleven grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard Morrison, her children Paula Johnson, Richard Morrison II, Marie Morrison, Sarah Derossi, Tracy Morrison, and Robert Morrison. She also leaves one sister, Rosemary Overby.

A graveside service will be held at Yellowstone National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd.
