Shirley, Brian, John, Matthew and Christy my heart hurts for you. I pray that the LOrd shines his light on you with help understanding and living with the huge void the loss of Matt has left. I especially pray that you will find peace and happiness knowing he is with the Lord who he loved and served during his life on earth. We’ve moved away but the time we spent with you McDonnell people are some of the best memories ever. We not only lost a great, loving, generous, extremely entertaining man but he was a Legend in his own time that will live in our hearts forever. God bless all of you, especially you Shirley one of the best friends a person could ever have! Gail and Ed Weber

Shirley and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Matt was always so kind tonourvfamilymoveenthwbyears, from sitting with us when we flew flight for life to Billings, to being there for us when we were in need of car repairs, and of course the fun times at family reunions. Matt’s kindness and smile will be missed.

We are so sorry for your loss. Matt was a great boss and definitely made a person feel valued. When my sister and I worked at Big Sky Collision cleaning the shop, Matt always told us we didn't need to clean the bathroom the guys used, to gross. That was opposite of what the other boss would tell us. He was a good man, in our life we had not known many of them. We are sending our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Matt. Enjoy the golf games in Heaven. The Spiker Twins, Jill & Janae

Shirley and family, we're sending our thoughts and prayers to you all. I'll always remember Matt as a great friend, a great partner, and my great teammate when we won the 1994 Hilands Fling Member-Guest. We shared the win, a lot of laughs, and memories I'll cherish forever. Rest in Peace Matt.

Shirley, Byan, John, Matthew and families, we are sending our thoughts and prayers to you all during this difficult time. I will always remember Matt's smile and friendly conversations we had over the years. And I know my Dad was there to meet him in Heaven when he arrived. May your cherished memories comfort you all today and always as you learn to navigate life without him until you are together again. - Jan and Shaun Combs
