Obituary
With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Paula Maria Ramirez on July 3, 2026. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she filled every room with compassion, laughter, and quiet strength. Her love and guidance will remain a lasting gift to all who knew her.
Born with the heart of an angel on December 7, 1957 in Billings, MT to George and Virginia Valadez. Paula, also affectionately known to friends and family as Poly, was one of six siblings and cherished the lifelong bond she shared with her brothers and sisters. She graduated from Billings Senior High School and later went to work at Head Start for many years as a bus driver and teachers aid.
August 10, 1984, Paula married her soul mate Robert Ramirez. Their love, devotion and companionship were her source of strength. From there they blended and grew their family. Paula and Robert were always together, camping, taking a drive, shopping, visiting, picking up grandkids to relaxing and watching Paula’s favorite reality show on TLC – 90 Day Fiancé, they did everything together.
Being true to her faith she loved to read and study her bible. Paula made sure she stayed in touch with those she loved, which may have been a phone call, a voicemail, lighting you a candle or saying a prayer. Gathering family together was her specialty, bringing everyone together for any reason was what she loved; holidays will never be the same without her. Paula always looked forward to girl’s night with her one and only daughter Monique. She was always the life of the party and loved dancing the night away! She was grateful when her grandkids wanted to spend the night and was proud of her kids and grandkids’ accomplishments, cheering them on in all their activities. Many memories were made on her family vacations, she enjoyed Flathead Lake with Yolanda and Clayton, Laker and Bronco games in Denver, visiting Christina in Virginia City, Deadwood South Dakota and numerous other road trips and camping trips.
A loving wife and mother of four and the heart of her close-knit family, Paula built her life centered on family, home and caring for those she loved. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love and devotion will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and all who were blessed to know her.
