I was fortunate to live next door to the Olson’s on Poly Drive while we were raising our young family. I don’t think we could have had better neighbor's. Larry gave my kids an opportunity to learn about the Native American culture in a way they to this day respect and cherish. His lessons to those young kindergartners have stayed with the now into their 30’s. Thank you Larry for sharing a bit of your culture with them.

I am sad to hear of Larry’s passing. He was a friend of my father, John (Dick) Glenn, they were two of the only Native engineers in the state and they both had their own architectural and engineering practices. I got to know Larry when he invited me to work with his firm on the design of the Native American Center at the University of Montana. It was a passion of his and he was instrumental in making it happen. We partnered on its early design which helped it get funding for full design and construction. I considered him a mentor in the Native world of architecture and engineering. He will be sorely missed. Daniel Glenn, Principal of 7 Directions Architects and Planners
