Kelly Nelson

I am Kelly’s cousin, Marnii. The last time o saw Kelly was around the Christmas season a couple of years ago. My good friend d had taken me out to dinner at the Grand America and we ran into Kelly in the lobby. We chatted for a bit and he left. After a very nice meal with my friend, her husband and her mother, we asked for the bill. The waitress informed us that it had already been taken care of. “By who!?” I asked the waitress. “I’m not uploaded to tell you.” She replied. We were all confused! Who had payed the tab on this not so cheap meal? Well, I finally got it out of the waitress: it was Kelly. He paid for a meal for a cousin he only sees every 5+ years and 2 complete strangers. That is the kind of guy Kelly was. He didn’t want credit or accolades for his kindness. He was probably the most selfless and generous person to everyone. I am heart broken by his loss. I love you cousin.
