It was a great honor to get to know City Councilman Shawn Brown during the 8 years we served together. I knew from the first time we met that this is a man of integrity, humble and concerned for his constituents. Shawn and I would often spend time outside on the street corner downtown after a city council meeting. He was always thoughtful of the policies and problems we faced. He was down to earth and very compassionate of his job as city councilman. I would stop by his office downtown at that time to chat and talk about the city. He too spoke often of his family and how he loved and cared for them. He had many other talents that I got to learn about from engineering to construction. He will be remembered in the halls of the City of Billings and in our community. Our condolences to all the family. God rest his soul. Respectfully, MT State Senator Mike Yakawich and Family

I remember introducing my best friend Deanna to my brother Shaun when he first came to Montana. He waited until she went home and when she left he kept saying "woo woo" and had me laughing so hard!! He was always the class clown and jokester whenever he had an audience! His family meant the world to him. He was always my protector and he will be greatly missed by myself and my children, Jeffrey and Amanda. You made it to the next level. I love you so much.
