Obituary
Jackson Gregory Slimak , loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend passed away doing what he loved on August 24, 2026. Jack was born February 23, 2005 in Southington, Connecticut to Michelle Beauregard and Gregory Slimak.
Although he was only given 21 years with us, he saw more of the world than most of us will ever see. He was an explorer and adventurer. He was an outdoorsmen starting at a young age at YMCA Camp Sloper as a camper, then as a camp lifeguard, and enjoyed exploring outdoor areas all over the world in his teen and adult years.
He passed doing what he loved, in a place he loved, the wilderness of Montana.
He loved to travel, and was an adventurous foodie. He was always willing to help you finish your meal.
He was a diehard gamer, who particularly enjoyed D&D, Star Wars Commander, & Magic the Gathering, even traveling around the world for tournaments.
He was honest and forthright and did what he wanted. He was silly and brought so much joy and laughter to his family.
He is survived by parents Michelle Beauregard (Matt Adkins) and Gregory Slimak; sisters Alexandra Jones (Matt), Lilianna McGue (Justice), Baileigh and Aria Adkins; nephew Soren McGue, niece Caroline Jones; uncle Michael Slimak (Kimberly); aunt Mary Slimak-Vining (Pete); cousins, John Slimak and Michael Slimak-Vining.
He was loved by many more family members including great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. The family would especially like to thank his friends Modi, Maria, Seth, James, and Chase for their support and love over the last few years.
In accordance with his family’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2027.
