Obituary
Mom, Auntie, Grandma Tiny passed away peacefully in her home in Billings at the age of 77 years. She was born on September 12, 1942 in Havre, MT to Gilbert and Flora Berger. It was there that she met and married Parker Lee “Eggy” Cochran. Together they had three children, Jana, Tina, and Randy Cochran. After the passing of her husband, she eventually met her partner of 20 years, Jack Lynch. In 1996, She moved to Billings to be with her kids and grandkids. She loved being Grandma Tiny to everyone she met. After working in the commercial laundry field for many, many years, she retired, making family her number 1 priority. Tiny was a free spirit that loved camping trips, live music, and playing “a quick 5” at the local casino. She loved the gatherings of friends and family and would always make sure she dressed for the occasion whether it was snowflake earrings for Christmas, or Spider rings for Halloween, she always made a statement with her fashion sense. She had lots of little saying that made us laugh, to which we all now say. Every morning she would eat her apple and drink her coffee, then putzy around the house. When she was in disbelief of what was being said it was “Oh go on” or “Get outta dodge”. Or in the other sense of believing, “Oh my stars” was her response. Saturdays were spent listening to Major Dan on the radio while sipping her can of beer. Sundays were for reading the paper, watching football, and gabbing on the phone. She is someone that we will all miss dearly. Our hearts will be forever broken until we meet her again. Tiny is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Flora Berger; her sisters Carol Ann St Marks, and Viola England; brother Jimmy Berger; daughter Tina Marie; son in law Ted Winchell; Husband Eggy; Life Partner Jack Lynch; Special friend John Feeley. She is survived by her Brothers Stuart, Tom, and Charlie and Sister Debbie; daughter Jana; son Randy; son in law Roger Winchell; grandkids Michael (Tiel) Lynch; Shannon Lynch (Daniel Salazar), Ryan (Candice) Lynch, Schaunna Lynch, Fred “Boagz” Winchell, Amanda Winchell (Rodney Castro), Alexa Annie Winchell, Michael Winchell, Adrian Rose Winchell; great grand kids Nevaeh, Damian, Annika, Bridget,Aja Marie, Timmy, Jass, Kenyde, Ryan, Rey Rey, Robert, Gauge, Frankie, Blaze; Special niece Cody (Mike) Dolan; as well as countless friends she made through her journey of life. We will take comfort in knowing she is wrapped in the arms of Jesus until we can be together again. We love and miss you Gram. Prayer/Smudging Service will be 2pm Tuesday Oct. 8th at Dahl Funeral Chapel with wake to follow.
