Elaine Comeau

Elaine R. Comeau Elaine Ramona Comeau, 75, of Livingston, MT died November 26, 2013 at the Billings Clinic. Elaine was born November 2, 1938 in Marysville, CA to Whitney and Christine Comeau. She was raised on a farm near McLaughlin, SD on the Standing Rock Sioux Indian Reservation. She graduated from McLaughlin High School and in 1957 married Emil Berns. They raised their three children, Jeannie Marie, Neil Jerome, and Kellie Ann in Billings. Elaine divorced and resided in Billings for 19 years where she worked at Pierce Packing. Elaine's youngest daughter, Christina June Egan was born in 1964. Elaine also raised her beloved Granddaughter Lashonda Boehme Foley. Elaine was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles for many years. Playing pool was a big part of her life and she was known to 'run the table'. She loved to dance, fish, camp and float the Yellowstone. She lived all over the State of Montana but settled in Livingston. She made a great number of friends wherever she lived. Elaine was preceded in death by her son Neil, daughter Jeannie, her parents, and brother Virgil Comeau. She is survived by her daughters Kellie Ann (Cut Bank. MT), Christina June (Apache Junction, AZ); her brother Terry (Solen, ND); her sisters Anita (Rapid City, SD), Deanna (Billings, MT). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests donations be made to your local Food Bank.
