Ruth Cutler

Ruth Kathryn Cutler, 97, passed away July 10, 2013 at Aspen Meadows in Billings, Montana. She was born December 28, 1915. Ruth graduated from college and after losing her fiancé to the war she found her way to the East Village in New York City. From there she worked her way up to a systems analyst for UNIVAC, traveling the country by train programming computers. Later Ruth married Bob Cutler and kept engaged in her community of Palos Verdes, CA. After Bob's death Ruth moved to Montana to be near her brother and his wife Jack and Heino Lackey and their family, again staying very engaged in her community of Bozeman. Ruth is survived by nephews John and David Lackey; niece Missy Langlas; and 10 great-nieces and nephews; 10 great-great-nieces and nephews. Ruth was always a lady “ahead of the times”. Service: Cremation will take place and Ruth will be laid to rest in Red Lodge cemetery.
