Obituary
Norma K. Devan passed away on Thursday, August 10 at age 80 at her home in Billings, MT due to complications from Parkinson's disease. She was born March 22, 1937 in Ong, Nebraska to Herbert W. and Florence (Woodhead) Fichtner. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jed Devan. She is survived by her four children, Charles Foster (Judy), Lucinda Kiedrowski (Kraig), Tracy Foster (Laura) and Russell Foster; stepdaughter, Susan Harness (Rick); two granddaughters and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Mouat; nephew, James (Bobbi) Mouat; and niece, Christy (Shane) Reintsma. In addition to raising her family, Norma worked at Harold's Upholstery and Hancock Fabrics. She enjoyed family, sewing, upholstering, crafts, bird-watching and gardening, as well as serving in her church. Visitation will be 5 pm Sunday followed by a Vigil at 6pm with Memorial Mass at 10 am on Monday, all at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Yellowstone Valley Audubon Society or St. Patrick Co-Cathedral in her honor.

Dear Family and Friends of Norma: Norma has been my exercise pal since 1986. She was also my good buddy in sewing ideas and hints on material coming in at Hancocks. I always looked for clothing displays made by Norma. She was an expert at it! Gave me lots of ideas and help. Most of all Norma and I shared a love for our Lord Jesus Christ and would visit about this alot. After some yrs, I discovered her sister was married to my cousin. We shared mutual cousin and niece/nephews for her. Her daughter Cindy used to come exercise with us through the yrs when she was in town. I went to her mom's funeral with my Aunt Shirley. Norma recently worked at St. Pat's and was there also when Aunt Shirley died and we had her funeral there. Norma, how we miss you and loved you dearly. Ellen Schoemer
