We want to let the Dickey family know that you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. We do know that Chris is in a better place and is not in any pain period. We hoped and prayed Chris would recover and be here for many years to come and we also prayed that if that was not to be we prayed for Jesus to take him home. Chris knew where he was going and he was ready to go. He would have stayed here for all of us if he could but that was not to be. Chris and I discussed what we thought the hunting, fishing and golf would be like in heaven and we decided it would be the best ever. We were going to work out a special code of some type for him to let me know just how good it was but time ran out. Therese we want you to know that Chris was so blessed to have met you and you really meant so much to him. He told us how you helped him keep his dignity over the past year and it meant more than you will ever know. Chris has been a good friend for many years and he will be missed by so many. Therese, Erin and John you know that Chris was one of the finest people we ever knew or will ever know. We love you and will be here to talk whenever you need to talk or to help when you need help. Love Scotty and Donna.

Chris, We hardly knew you. We forget you were on loan to us but your time went much too quickly. We promise to take care of Therese. She always has been one of my heroes.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dickey Family , his wife, children, sisters , dad and his "brothers" one of which is my Uncle Tommy . I met Chris throughTommy (and Deb) in the late 80's . Even back then Chris was the kind of person who stood out from the rest. He was a man of principle ; strong in his beliefs, loyal to his friends and family, honest in all that he did, true to self and others . This loss will be felt by many, even the slightest acquaintance considered him a friend ,as did I. I will cherish memories of his competitive side ,determined to win a late night Sequence Game at Tom and Deb's and fully expecting his team members to hold up their end of the deal ! God bless you all and God bless Chris ~ Kimberly

Therese, Erin Marie, & John, "God saw Chris getting tired and a cure was not to be. So God put his arms around him and whispered, "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best". Author Unknown You are in our hearts and prayers. Ger and Kate Volnek
