Carol Ann Placek Anderson My hero, died on Thursday May 28, 2015 of leukemia. She had breast cancer and beat it then had uterine cancer and beat it also. Her body was too tired to fight the leukemia. Carol was born December 28, 1953 to Edward and Violet Placek in Billings, Montana. Carol worked at the Northern Hotel as a maid for many years, then worked at Lockwood Middle School in the cafeteria. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and husband Gerald “Jerry” Anderson. She is survived by her son Donald Anderson; two granddaughters Llyssa of Billings and Arianna whose stationed in Japan; grandsons Thomas, Damian and Rowan of Billings; sister Diana Burgess; brother Dennis and Susan Placek; sisters Janice McKittrick and Linda Best; numerous nieces, nephews and tons of cousins. I love you baby sister, you will be missed and loved! Funeral Service 2:00pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Interment at Mountview Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

To all Carol's family and friends. I have known Carol Ann since she was a baby.. You Placek kids and mine grew up together. Carol Ann was like one on my kids. I went to visit her a week or so ago. It was like when she was a little girl. She was the BABY of the family. I hugged her and she hugged me back. I'm so glad I got to see her one last time. We will all miss her so much.. I lost my Randy last year. It was like losing another one of my kids. I didn't get to go to the services as I didn't know about her passing or the service... Goodnight, Carol Ann. You're with Jesus now and you are well and feeling good.
