Obituary
Lorraine Doll passed away peacefully on March 20, 2019 surrounded by family. Lorraine was born August 13, 1933 to Antone & Elizabeth Kautzman. She married Leo Doll on February 20, 1950 in Mandan, ND and they were married 69 years. She was a strong and loving mother to her seven children; teaching them good work ethics and other valuable lessons in life. Mom was a great role model to all, and will be greatly missed. Lorraine loved cooking, gardening and needle work. Mom liked to have family gatherings and playing cards, camping and fishing. Lorraine is survived by her husband and seven children, Sandy (Bill), Rick, Martin (Sue), Pat (Dale), Cindy (Rich), Dave (RaeAnn), Dan ( Suzanne); 14 grandchildren & 21 great-grandchildren; and her 2 brothers, Pat & Herman Kautzman. A Celebration of Lorraine's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral, 215 N. 31st Street, Billings, MT.

Lorraine is truly going to be missed. She was our neighbor for 18 years and she was a very special person. If I had a down day I could go talk to her and she always lifted my spirits. Sometimes we would talk for an hour or more. After they moved we still kept in touch. She was always there to help. When Mark would go help them with different things in the yard, she would always make him a treat. He loved all the different breads she made us. We love both her and Leo. Grandma, you will be so missed. You want us to be happy for you , and I am happy you are in heaven with no pain, however, I have sadness at the thought of not being able to hug you , or see you, or have a real life conversation with you ever again. Thank you for everything you have taught me. I feel the women in our family are stronger because of your influence; we have more perseverance, drive, and work ethics. We couldn’t of asked for a better role model in that department. You may have been small, but you were the mighty pillar in our family keeping in touch with everyone, sending cards, or making phone calls to say hi , I love you, how are you doing, or I am just thinking about you. You had a great sense of humor, were a wonderful cook, good with gardening, made beautiful doilies and afghans, loved to play cards and socialize, and your presence and love will be missed.
I will miss our joking around and our serious heart to heart talks. We managed 2 rounds of four generations of oldest daughter of oldest daughter of oldest daughter of oldest daughter. I wonder if my daughter Haley will carry on the tradition? I love you grandma, one day we will see each other again.

Oh I was saddened to see this and the news of Lorraine's passing. I was hoping to visit with her and Leo when I got back up to Montana. Thankfully we had a good telephone conversation in 2017. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She always made me feel at home and a part of the family for the years I was JoAnn Doll. Leo I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I know it is terrible losing a life partner and you had many many years together and she will always be with you. Those memories will forever be in your heart. Sandy, Rick, Patsy, Martin, Dave, Cindy, and Danny I send my deepest condolences and know you will miss her dearly.
God bless all of you Doll family and I know Jesus wrapped his loving arms around Lorraine as he welcomed her into heaven.
