Clifford Dunn

Clifford Vernon Dunn was born in Wibaux, Montana on November 12, 1931 in Pierre Wibaux's home. He was the oldest of five children born to Francis Marion and Agnes Marie Dunn. Cliff graduated from Wibaux County High School in 1950 after enjoying athletic prowess in the areas of basketball and baseball. He loved hunting and roaming the prairie land of Wibaux County as a young man. A short stint in Billings at Eastern Montana College found him back in Wibaux and shortly thereafter in Korea for two years. After returning from Korea, Cliff married Donna Marie Nistler also from Wibaux in 1954 beginning a devoted marriage of 64 years. At this time, Cliff took a job with the State of Montana's Highway Department. He worked there for 33 years managing to progress from the bottom, outside building highways in the changing weather to Office Manager in the Billings at the time of his retirement. The couple raised five children mostly in the Billings area. Cliff, being private man, enjoyed puttering around the house, watching TV (mostly Gunsmoke and Wrestling), and spoiling whatever dog that he had at the time. Cliff is survived by one sister, Diane Watembach, his wife, Donna, his five children and their spouses and children. We miss him. A Memorial Mass will be noon Friday, May 3, 2019 at St. Patrick Co-Cathedral. Committal rites will be at Sunset Memorial Mausoleum with military honors.
