Gerald Edmonds

Gerald M. Edmonds, 80, died at home May 24, 2011. He was born in Fort Benton, MT, June 25, 1930 to Helen (Alm) and Floyd Edmonds of Geraldine. At age 9, his family moved to Great Falls where Geb graduated from high school in 1948. He attended the College of Great Falls before joining the Air National Guard in April 1950. In 1954 he graduated from the University of MT. On June 23, 1956 Geb married Avis Flom in Eveleth, MN. Jerry worked in the insurance industry retiring from the Montana Bank System. He is survived by his wife, Avis; his two daughters, Lisa Boyle and Leslie Pitman; two grandsons, Sean and Aaron Boyle; son-in-law Ken Pitman, Kens daughter, Rochelle (Bret) Rutherford and son Dustin (Jennifer), and their two sons, Peyton and Parker; sister, Sharon; brother Ray (Virginia). Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Service: A memorial service will be held Friday, June 3 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
