Obituary
Ruby Elliott, 90, of Harlowton, MT, passed away on May 11, 2015 in Billings, MT. She was born on November 16, 1924 to Clyde and Leta Miller. She was raised in Thomasville, MO. Ruby married Kenneth Elliott on August 31, 1942 in Thomasville. They lived in the Kansas City area before settling in Harlowton where they raised their children. Ruby worked as a nurse's aide in the hospital and found much joy in helping others. She and Kenneth were faithful members of the Wesleyan Church for nearly fifty years. Some of her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, gardening, cooking and baking. Ruby was a bit shy and quiet but loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Neta (Bob) Karnop; and her son Darrell (Kathy) Elliott. Viewing will be at noon Friday, May 15 with funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., both at the Wesleyan Church in Harlowton. Burial will be in the Harlowton Cemetery.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Ruby's passing. I remember when I was a small girl, Aunt Ruby would bring boxes of clothes and shoes to Grandma Miller's to give to those who needed them. I especially remember her baby doll toed heels. As a young girl I thought those were pretty special. I have heard Dad (Irvin) tell of stories when he lived with Aunt Ruby about how Darrell would play around like he was a bucking horse; how cute he was.
