I am so sorry to hear of Art's passing. I taught with him the 17 years he was at Northwest College and went through the transition of loss of programs and jobs. I was the Family and Consumer Science teacher at Northwest for 28 years and had close relationships with those teaching in the Ag field, as I was in the same division at the college. We had many good times not only going to vocational conventions, but working together on curriculum that would transfer easily to four year institutions, and putting many Milk Can dinners together for the college parties. Our entire Ag division was very close, and we celebrated many birthdays, holidays and friendships over the years we worked together. When the college restructured their priorities many programs and jobs were lost, but the respect and love for the people we had worked with for many years was still there. My program was one of those eliminated. Helen Custer, Lori (Nordland) Startin and myself have visited, and often thought about Art and where he was. We could never seem to catch up with him. My husband was reading the Billings paper this morning and saw the obituary. Tears fell, as this is not how I wanted to catch up with Art. To Bennie Lou and his children, we will remember Art as such a good friend, excellent teacher, being very professional, and a family man. Our hearts are sad with his passing, but we remember all the GOOD times at the college. Sharon Cornwall, Live in Lovell, WY Former Northwest College, Family and Consumer Science Teacher. Member of the Science and Agricultural Division at Northwest College.

We are so sorry to hear of Art's passing. What a wonderful man and beautiful soul. Bennie Lou, Kim, Kris and Mike - you are all in our thoughts and prayers. The world lost a good one and the Lord received home one of the best. Blessings, Kim and Cindy Jacobs

Florence and I send our sympathies to the entire family. We were shocked in hearing of his passing. Art was so well respected at NWC both by his students, and his fellow faculty members. I really enjoyed working with him those many, many years! He was a class act. Your family brings back so many fond memories. Kim an Kris, you were such great members of Job Daughters and Mike, such a tremendous athlete, What a wonderful job mom and dad did in raising you all! Art is now waiting patiently for you to come home and be united again! Our faith in Jesus Christ will without question, make that reuniting possible! God bless you!
