Obituary

Patricia Jane Fisher passed away in her home on December 23, 2018, surrounded by her children, 2 weeks short of her 88th birthday. She was born on January 6, 1931, the daughter of Charles J. and Mary (Weinzetl) Althoff, and was the youngest of 5 children. She graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1949 and attended Billings Business College. She worked at Tractor and Equipment as a bookkeeper and also worked at Bench School in the cafeteria. Patricia married Lee E. Fisher on February 13, 1954 and from this union 3 children were born. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking, making Christmas candy, canning, gardening, sewing and crocheting. She always enjoyed visiting the family farm and orchards at Pompeys Pillar. She was a den mother for several years. Patricia was a charter member of St. Bernard's Church as well as a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles (FOE). Patricia and Lee enjoyed dancing at the Eagles and playing cards with friends. Patricia is survived by her children, Tim (Cheryl) Fisher, Tammy Fisher, and Tom Fisher. She leaves behind 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Lee E. Fisher; her brothers, Charles and Leo Althoff; sisters Mary “Sis” Montgomery and Irene “Peg” Carscallen. We would like to thank the staff of Compassus for making the last month more comfortable for her. You will be forever missed by all. We love you dearly. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and reception will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at St. Bernard's Parish at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
