Obituary
John W. Apedaile passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of December 26, 2015. John was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 23, 1934 to William and Zelma Apedaile. The family lived in Sand Point, Idaho. John moved to Billings in 1955. John's career was working with automobiles. He worked as a mechanic, service manager and car sales. He retired from his own auto repair shop in 2002. John enjoyed time at the ranch and fishing at the family cabin with his grandsons and family. John is survived by his wife of 57 years Carole; son Ed; daughter Heide; three grandsons Ari (Lily), Jori, Tevin; brother Jesse (Janet) Apedaile of Littleton, Colorado. Cremation has taken place. At John's request no service is planned. A special thank you to Dr. Neal Sorensen for caring for John over the years. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

We are so sorry to hear about John's passing. What a kind, sweet man John was. I'll miss seeing him on his daily walks throughout the neighborhood. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
