Suzanne Glatt

Loving mother, affectionate grandma, steadfast friend, revered sister and faithful Navy Wife, Suzanne (Sue) Adair Glatt passed away in her home September 8, 2010 after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. Born November 30, 1944 to John and Helen (Finneman) Randich in Baker, MT, she grew up on the family farm just west of New England, ND with her seven brothers and sisters. Sue attended school at St. Marys in New England where she met Lawrence (Larry) Glatt during her high school years. After Larry changed his wayward tendencies and deemed himself worthy of her affections, they were subsequently married at St. Marys Catholic Church on July 30, 1966.During her 20 years as a Navy Wife, tours of duty took them to Charleston, South Carolina; Washington DC; Tustin, California; San Diego, California; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and even Dickinson, North Dakota (during Larrys tour in Vietnam). Upon Larrys retirement from the Navy in 1983, they moved to Billings and opened their own successful business; G&W Dental Lab. For 23 years they worked side-by-side 24/7 until they both retired for good in 2006.Always one to dote on her five grandchildren, they were the center of “GGs” universe and she was deeply loved by them all. She was also active in her faith as a loyal parishioner of St. Bernards Catholic Church and an active member of Cum Christo. Sue found solace, comfort and peace with God till the very end.Sue is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Don (Lynn) Glatt of Colorado Springs, CO and their children Conner and Lydia; son, Steve (Erika) Glatt of Highlands Ranch, CO and their children Logan, Kayla and Chelsea; sister, Marilyn (Marlin) Schroeder; sister, Kathy (Steve) Carbno; sister, Deb (Dave) Astar; brother Andy (Jacque) Randich; brother, Ken (Ronalda) Randich; brother, Bob (Cheri) Randich; sister-in law, Sister Marie Damian Glatt; sister-in-law, Lori Glatt; brother-in-law Jim (Diane) Glatt; uncle, Phil (Genie) Randich; and aunt, Dorothy Finneman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Randich; and brother-in-law, Arnold Glatt.Viewing will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at St. Bernards. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Bernards with Committal in Holy Cross Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2610 Montana Ave., Billings, MT 59101.
