Olivia Goodale

Olivia “Liv” Rose Goodale, born December 8, 2003, unexpectedly left our lives on November 2, 2019. Liv was born in Minot, ND to her mom, Jessi Parker (Schaack) and biological father, Wade Goodale and became the little sister to her big brother Cole. Shortly thereafter Jessi, Cole and Liv moved to Billings where Jessi met Jacob “Jake” Parker and they wed after a little assistance from Liv's big brother Cole in cutting her hair. From the day she met Jake, Liv had him wrapped around her heart as she did his and she grew to know him as her dad. As life continued, Jessi and Jake introduced Cole and Liv to their newest addition to the family- Jonah. Liv took her role as a sister to heart. Watching movies, cuddling, going for walks were some of the few things that Jonah and Liv loved to share together. Liv's skills in the kitchen, cooking and baking were often the smells when we walked in the house, her end results were always shared with her brothers. Cole often remembers Liv's food, or the offer to buy food as being the basis of a proposition to get him to take her somewhere in his car, a proposition that worked 100% of the time. Jake and Liv had a special relationship. After Jake and Jessi separated, Jessi met and moved in with Joe and Bryce. Liv took the separation hard, but she gained another little brother and took it in stride and remained close with Jake as her dad. Liv stayed with Jake every other week along with Jonah, where she was able to help watch Jonah. Liv was persistent, determined- one could even say hard-headed. Jake remembers how honest Liv could be, as any teenager is, it could take a little prodding, but once she was open, you would get the truth whether you liked it or not. Jessi and Liv, mother and daughter, were the only two girls in a house full of boys. Words can't describe the relationship that Jessi and Liv had, it was something that only they can understand between the two of them. “Selflessness”- is the word Jessi used to explain Liv. Liv's heart was overflowing with love for her mom, if there was one person in the world that Liv always trusted and confided in, it was Jessi. Good, bad, struggles, achievements- they were all shared between Jessi and Liv, and they worked together as they walked through each step in life, and those steps will continue forever on in their hearts. Liv is survived her parents Jacob Parker, Jessi (Joe) Parker, her brothers Cole, Jonah, and (Bryce); grandparents Mike Parker, Rita (Todd) Clippinger, John Schaack, Brenda Roche, Kathy Schaack; aunts Jenna Schaack and Megan (Drew) Greenwood.; Liv's biological father Wade Goodale (Regina) and grandparents Jess Goodale, and Mary Kay Miller.
