Obituary
Donald Charles Rudolph Grabowska, resident of Aspen Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center of Billings, returned to the loving arms of his heavenly Father on April 2, 2018 in Billings, Montana at the age of 79. Don is survived by his children, Dan (Alisa) and Momi; brother, Lewis (Joanne) Grabowska; grandchildren, Justine (Paul), Jimi, Jenna, Jessica (Cody), Jesiah, Alyx and Leigha; several great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce, daughter, Joy Faith and bothers, Jimmy and Ray. Don was born on December 16, 1938 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Clarence and Alma Grabowska. After attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Don went into the ministry as a missionary, pastor and music director. He married Joyce Cunningham in 1963 and together they raised a family and opened their doors and hearts to many other children. Other than serving his church, Don also ran drug and alcohol recovery programs. His favorite title, though, was Papa Don to his grandkids. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. We enjoyed Don's friendship and appreciated his musical talents while he lived in Salmon, ID. He rode with us to/from Salmon Valley Baptist Church. We know he's enjoying singing in heaven and reuniting with his wife and other family and friends. --Tommie & Paul Palmer
