Jeanette Haagenstad

Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Jeanette M. Haagenstad, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on April 11, 2015. The peaceful look on her precious face as she passed from this earth to Heaven told us she finally saw God face-to-face with His arms outstretched to her. Jeanette was born in Hardin, MT on March 8, 1936 to Alexander and Gustina (Gress) Bertram. She graduated from Billings Senior High in 1954. She married Benjamin Henneberry on September 19, 1954. From this union, they had four children. On February 14, 1981 Jeanette married Keith O. Haagenstad. One of her favorite pastimes was tending to her flower garden. She had a very strong work ethic that she handed down to her children and grandchildren. She was a good role model with a sunny disposition which she displayed to the very end. Jeanette is survived by her brother, Alexander Bertram Jr.; her children Terry (Michelle) Henneberry, Timothy Henneberry, Mary (Steve) Krieger, and Tina (Than) Christman; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Carolyn Cosgrove; brother Patrick Bertram and husband Keith. Viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at Dahl Chapel.
