Kenneth Hall

Kenneth M. Hall entered the joy of His Lord on June 16, 2018. Surrounded by loved ones, he lived to see his 95th birthday. Kenny spent Father's Day with his Heavenly Father. Rolland and Trudi Hall gave birth to their second son, Kenneth Max Leland on June 15, 1923 in Hanley, Saskatchewan, Canada. The family moved to Bainville, Montana six months later. Kenny was raised in Bainville, where as a boy he would meet and marry his childhood sweetheart, Esther Deloris Smestad. They were married on September 20, 1944, a few weeks before Kenny was shipped off to fight in the Second World War. Kenny was a nose gunner on a B-24 and survived 16 harrowing flight missions over Nazi occupied Europe during the war. Kenny and Deloris made a life for themselves in Bainville, raising their three beautiful daughters, who were his pride and joy: Marcia (Steve) Berg, Joan (Duane) Enger and Darla (Thomas) Sullins. Kenny and Deloris were pillars in the community of Bainville. Kenny worked for the postal service for many years. They made numerous civic contributions and were respected business leaders. But their greatest benefaction was to the Kingdom of God. Their home became known as a place of ministry and they were among the founders of Bainville Faith Fellowship Church. In their later years the couple moved to Billings to be near family. Kenny loved his family and worked hard to see them cared for. He is survived by his wife of seventy-three years, three daughters, eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A celebratory service for Kenneth Hall will be held at Bethany Church, 8885 Danford Ave., in Billings on Thursday at 11am, June 21st. Donations to Bethany Church can be made in lieu of flowers. Scripture promises a special crown will be given to those who are looking for the Lord's return, and we are certain that Kenny is wearing his crown now.
