I am a fellow classmate at WVU and I met Cole last Summer for our class. I was highly impressed on his presentation and he helped me understand CBT therapy in a way that was simplified. He seemed to really enjoy the teaching aspect of the presentation and an overall friendly and intelligent person. I am so very sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

I was saddened to hear this news. I first met Cole when we were freshmen at Rocky. He was one of my first friends there. I remember how easy he was to talk to and get along with...and he was funny! We crossed paths through our jobs later on at both Excel Group Home and South Central Treatment Associates. He was a great counselor and just an all-around good guy. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

I also met Cole last summer on campus. He was a fellow classmate in the Rehabilitation Counseling program at WVU. It was great getting to meet and work with him. You could tell that he had a great passion for counseling and working with his clients. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by his WVU family.

I met Cole while attending Rocky Mountain College. He was so intelligent, warm, kind, and funny. A good pal and fellow bass player. We shared a lot about music back then, as well as conversations deep, wide, shallow, and silly. I got to reconnect with him when he came to work in my building the last couple years. It was always good to see his smiling face. Even though we haven't seen much of each other since college, I will miss my old pal Cole. My deepest condolences to Heather, Sheamus, and all of Cole's family and friends.

I had the tremendous pleasure of working with Cole at MVR and am grateful to have had the opportunity to know him and to know of his family, of whom he spoke often. I greatly admired Cole's counseling experience, thoughtful insight, and efforts to help his clients succeed and often sought his professional guidance. Cole's personality and sense of humor brightened the office daily, and his witty, out-of-the-blue remarks would often take us off guard and make us laugh out loud during weekly staff meetings. Fred, Gayle, Heather, and Sheamus, please know you are in our thoughts now and always. Your Cole will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
