Minnie Hampton

Minnie Jackson Hampton Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away on April 25, 2015 in Ballantine, Montana. Minnie was born to Edward Jackson and June Phyllis Schade Jackson on May 14, 1947 in Price Utah. Minnie was loved by everyone. She had an elegance and beauty in the way that she lived her everyday life. Minnie had a sweet and caring spirit and shared it with anyone she came into contact with. Minnie had an infectious laugh that could light up a room and get everyone laughing right along with her. She took great pride in always looking her best no matter what the occasion. Minnie loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She was always so proud of her grandchildren and didn't mind bragging about their latest accomplishments. Minnie loved spreading God's word at any given opportunity. She had a very strong faith and nothing could keep her from singing God's praises. She loved being at church worshiping God. Minnie lived life to the fullest and never had a lazy bone in her body. Minnie enjoyed spending time outdoors admiring all God's creations. She loved watching birds and tending to her flower gardens. Some of her hobbies included reading and studying her bible, pressing flowers for making her cards, sewing, playing puzzles and playing games with her family. Minnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Minnie is preceded in death by her father Edward Jackson; her mother June Phyllis Schade Jackson; sister Anna J. Strakey and daughter Glenda Nielsen Walden. She is survived by her sister Lil Reid of Needles, CA. Her daughters Corrina (Dave) Madill of Price, UT.; Monique (Andy) Lettas of Ballantine, MT. Her grandchildren Minnie-Ann Nielsen, Emmanuel Glimidakis, Shane Bowser, Anna Forbes, Elena Forbes, Audrey Hampton, Tobias Lettas and Jordan Lettas. Funeral Service 1:00pm Friday, May 1, 2015 at Dahl Funeral Chapel with burial at Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT. Celebration of Life Service Friday May 8, 2015, gathering of family and friends at 4:30pm, service starting at 5:00pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 E Main St, Price, UT. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.
