Obituary
Terry Hampton joined his father and beloved wife on May 8, 2016, at the age of 44. He was born on June 3, 1971 to Edward Ray and Rose Marie Hampton in Salt Lake City, Utah. Terry is preceded in death by his father, Edward, his wife, Cindy, and their beloved pets, Babe, Max, Rowdy, Tanner, Grace and Honey. He is survived by his sons, Trevor and Trenton, his mother Rose Hampton, his brother Eddie (Julie) Hampton, his sisters Debbie (Ron) LeVeaux and Lauri Hampton, and his furry children Roscoe, the “not” Great, but “Good Dane”, Steve the Beagle mix, and Shea Pet the Calico cat. Terry graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1989 and immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps. After returning to Billings he again worked for Buttrey Foods where he had worked during high school. In 1995 he began his career with Eagle Hardware (now Lowe's). It was here that he found his second family, and met his “work-wife”, Cricket. In 1993, Terry met his best friend Cindy, and they were married on September 8, 1998. He picked this date so he would be able to remember his anniversary, 9/8/98. Their first son, Trevor Lee was born on February 15, 2000, and on September 4, 2003, Trenton James joined the family. Their family was made complete by all the pets they loved so dearly over the years. Terry loved the outdoors. He and Cindy spent many summers camping and fishing near White Sulphur Springs. He continued this tradition with his sons every year. Terry gained national notoriety when a local newspaper story about him rolling his Hummer off of a snow pile in the Lowe's parking lot went viral. Terry was a gifted artist and cartoonist. He will be remembered for his great and unfiltered sense of humor. Spending time with him was never dull or boring. He had a huge heart, and like his father, he would go out of his way to help anyone. It did not matter whether he knew them or not. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm, Friday at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of the staff at Dahl Funeral Chapel.

Terry, I will miss you! I have many memories. The best memory I have is when you and Cindy joined my family up at Holter Lake camping. It was our first time with our friends RV. I will not forget you screaming in the middle of the night that there was a Bear outside your tent. Only to find out later, it was deer. We laughed all weekend and years later. May you rest in peace brother and hope no Bears will be by your tent! Your Bother-in-Law Ron LeVeaux

My heart aches for the family to lose, after just 44 short years, your precious loved one, Terry , way too young, way too soon. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you a beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our heavenly father promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 3,4 which reads: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say, "Look! "The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them." John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day."
